Home again, home again!!!!

We are finally home for a few weeks. The job in Cleburn has finished, for us anyway! I am sooo happy to be home for some summer time. We bought a small pool so we can beat the Texas heat. The hubby is trying to get on a line that is running right next to our house! Literally right down the road. The hardest thing is waiting to get a call that he can test. In this world of welding it truly is about who you know and if a boss doesn't know you he may not test you!! So we hope and pray that a spot opens up and we have done all we can  for the boss to call us first. We shall see but for now I am going to enjoy the home time.

Since being home I have started going to the gym again. I am super happy to be going it makes me feel great! I have a goal to reach and a date set to get there. We decided this year instead of taking a summer beach trip that we would take a winter trip to Vegas for the NFR. (National Finals Rodeo) So with that planned and booked I now have 6 months to get my booty in gear and in shape!!!

I had a request order for a camo themed diaper cake. I love to do diaper cakes. They are so super cute and easy and make a great décor addition for any shower and or nursery. I use a box of 96 diapers to make a 3 tier. Most people like to keep the cakes together for a while so I use size 2 diapers. I also do not add anything extra except for maybe some lotion and wash. I do this because if the want to keep it together then its kind of useless to put all the extra stuff in it.

Excuse the mess in the background. This is my craft room and is not fully organized yet. I used natural burlap ribbon with baby blue ribbon followed with camo duct tape on the top and bottom layers. For the middle layer I used green burlap ribbon with baby blue ribbon on top and the stuffing on top is plant moss. For the "B" on top I painted the sides and the inside of the letter and then covered the rest in the camo tape.

Hope everyone has a GREAT Wednesday and say a prayer we get a call for the next job.

Potty training complete!!!

I am proud to announce that we are officially POTTY TRAINED!!!!! I could not be any prouder!! It was a bit of a battle but its done and it feels great!! although I did think that once we were potty trained I would be done with poop, and that is so not the case, but at least the poop goes in the potty first and I am just the clean up crew!! lol The pooping has been the hardest part of this whole experience, and I have no idea why?? I started doing treats and prizes and that has been working GREAT!!!! I am still giving treats and will continue until he just goes on his with out having to tell me!!! Whatev works!!!

This is what his surprises were for the first 3 poops! He got a new monster truck. This is his obsession right now so it was a great incentive. After he got those then he got to pick a sticker or fruit snack or marshmallows. Anything that he loves to snack but only gets every now and then I used for treats!!
If you notice on his sweet face he has a bad booboo!! He had an accident with a  bumper car and the concrete on the car port!! It was AWFUL and we now have a dead tooth because of it!!! It healed very quickly and with no scaring though!!!

Meet BAby Trevor Dean Peirce!!!

My best friend in the whole world finally had her new baby boy on May 6th! We have been waiting for this day for soooo long it was so surreal that it was even here!! He took his precious time at coming too. She pushed for 2 hrs before they finally decided to do a C-section. When he finally arrived he was the sweetest little thing. He was 7lbs and 20in!! Just perfect!!!! I just love him soo much and I know he and Atley are going to be the best of friends!!!!!

He was the tiniest thing!! I never got to hold Atley being this small!!

Getting closer to East Texas

Our job is on its last stretch!!!. We have moved from Weatherford to Burleson Texas now and our next stop is home. Just in time for the start of summer and then we make the decision of where to go next!! My hubby got moved from the firing line back to tie ends which is great because we get to finish the job. I love when he gets on tie ends it is totally job security!! The only down fall is the long hours and working 7 days sometimes. I am totally looking forward to a few weeks at home with all of us!!

Daddy and the tot on Easter!! We had a great Easter with lots of family and egg hunts!

Atley and I went home for a week or two and his friend Christian missed him dearly!! It was so nice to have another family right next to us so Atley could have a play mate!! They just left Burleson to go home since the job was done and Atley doesn't understand where Christian is and when she is coming back!! Hopefully we will run into them again one day on another job.

The Texas heat has hit and so we got the kids a pool and of course in trailer park style we blew it up and put it in the front of the trailer!! lol they loved it! It was def better than the bucket of water we had given them to play with the day before!

Relaxing Trailer trash style!!

I got my hair done AGAIN!!!! I have to change it up every 7 wks!! This time we added a little more purple and some fun green!! I LOOOOVE my hair girl she is the absolute best!!!

Southern Jitney's

Ok the time has come for me to introduce The Southern Jitneys!! Three of my gf's and I decided we wanted paint my husbands bus, of course he made us buy it first! lol!! Anywho, we wanted to get it ready before Antique Week in Round Top, Texas! We busted our arsses, but we finished it in the nick of time!! We might have done some detail work on the way up there but it was complete by the time we got there!

I have more pics of our adventure and the inside of the bus, but I think I am going to do one big post on that later. However, I will tell you that the Junk Gypsy momma and daddy got on our bus and the Junk Gypsy sisters put a pic of the bus on their IG!! So maybe the bus is kind of a BIG DEAL!!! lol

Here is my JG Junk-o-Roma Prom outfit that I loved!! I got the skirt in Warrenton last year and the jacket I bought from the JG's this year!! It was SOOOO cold and I totally did not pack a jacket!! OH and the fabulous hat I got there also!! We had soooo much fun I can not wait until October so we can go again!!!

I could sooooo dress like this everyday if the weather permitted!! lol The gaudier the better!!!! lol

Lots of love The traveling wife and mommy!!!

A fav shirt and the new trailerhood!!!

I have totally missed a few of these since I said I would do it , but Ill get better, please forgive me!One outfit  is a little fancier than the other, I was spending the day with my mom and we were going shopping the other I was just making my way around the new town! I absolutely live this shirt. I got it at Baskins in Witchita Falls its by Gypsy Soul!!! My wonderful friend Megan took me to Tesky's here in Weatherford and it is AMAZIng!!! Omg I could have stayed in that store forev! They have Gypsy Soul there and I wanted every piece!!!! Maybe ill go grab something else before we leave this town!! Lol speaking of towns I am living in Weatherfordnow! The construction is very sucky but the town is nice! What makes it even better is that my friend Megan and her family live here and she is going to push me to the gym! Lol literally! So hopefully we will be her for a while!
Excuse the mess!! Its hard to monuver around the bedroom in the trailer! Anywho Here I put the shirt with shorts and flops!!! I loveeee this shirt its so comfy and thats what trailer style is about cute and comfy!!!

Here I paired with a pair of NY and Co Jeans that I roled up and some cute sandals I got last year at Shoe Carnival I think! And of course pearls in which ever color!! I could have layed 3 more strands! The more pearls the better!!!

We are staying at the KOA and it's ok! We got like 3 complaints the first day we were here which kinda pissed me off but I wasn't here to see ho they were coming from!!! The trailer spaces are super close together and that makes for NoOO privacy but at least we know our neighbors and the kids have a small area to play in!!!
Hmmm I guess that's it for today! We are heading home for the weekend!! I have a huge surprise I am going to post next week!!! Me and some girls are heade to round top for antique week and we are dokie g some crazy things to prepare!!!

This is our neighbors trailer!! I could throw water balloons at it if the window opened up more! lol

Goodbye Falls with a BANG!!!!!!

My husband is a welder, so we move around a lot! Well a lot is an understatement! Last year, aside from my home home, we lived in Victoria Tx, Thackerville Ok, and San Antonio Tx finished out the year. So far this year we have been in Wichita Falls Tx, and now we are in Weatherford Tx. I have only been there 1 day technically because I had to come home. Oh the joys of coming home! Our yard was a WreCk because of all the storms that have come through and wiped the trees around.  I previously wrote about a tree that we had to cut down and thought we could save the other, but we are going to have to cut it down also! I hate to see the trees go. Since we looked like some white trash going on in the yard so I hauled the tree limbs away! This was sooo not an easy task but I did it anyway!!! I do a lot of things to take care of the yard since the hubby is always gone! I do the outside work as well as the inside! I don't mind for the most part because it needs to get done! I am super excited that mowing season is coming up because I LOVE to mow the yard. I can make it take as long as possible and its some great time to myself.

Christie my SIL, Kelly and her daughter Savannah and myself of course!

Now with out further ado I bring you Ran, Dierks and Lee!!!! Some of my girls come down, well up, and we went to the Locked and Reloaded concert with Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley and Lee Brice ! It was Fabulous! We had such a great time. I absolutely love Miranda Lambert. Her being from Texas makes it even better! I am a HUge Texas Country fan. We had pretty good seats I guess. This was the first concert that I had been to that a lot of people didn't stand up and get off their butts to support the artist!!! Lots of older people and young kids in the stands and the younger adults on the floor (maybe we should have been down there). When I say young kids, I mean like 7 and under! I have no prob with bringing kids, I do have a prob with people just sitting on the arrsess!!!  I did not let that stop me!! I had my 2 tall Beverly's and I was feeling fab!!!

2 BIG Beverly's!!!

Me and the SIL

I absolutely loved these pics!

This is Talent!!

Well that pretty much sums up my time there! I am now closer to home which is nice because I get to go home more! The downside is I leave the hubby for a bit!

Have a great week,
The traveling wife

Around the trailer hood and Atleys SURPRISE!!!

I got a new CAMERA!!!!!! I am oh sooo happy about! It was so hard to take pics with the phone then upload! It was driving me nuts so this is easier!! I got a Nikon Coolpix L810 and so far I LOVEEEEE it!! I still have a lot to figure out but it shouldn't take me that long!

You can see it in the reflection!I took a pic of my hair I change it so often and I don't always get pics of it to remember!! My fabulous Hair chick loves me, because I let her have a whole lot of freedom!!! See when you are a stay at home mom you can pretty much do what ever the french you want to your hair!! So I do! Its very refreshing to not have to worry about it! lol
This is a little purple and about a week after I took this I went to see her again and she added some red in!

This is how the tot felt about my new camera! lol

We just moved to Weatherford, Tx and the last 2 wks in the "Falls" we had a few things planned! Its nice that we have moved already but the moving day was a Biootch!! I had the tot and his cousin and I had to pack up the whole trailer BY MYSELF!!! Of course they were of NO help but at least they kept each other company so I could get a few things done! Packing up the trailer is a process and I dread it as much as I dread packing to go to the trailer! But when its done its a relief. I know I took my time to make sure things are secure! So I thought! The hubs got to the trailer and we put the slideouts in. I wanted to wait for him for this reason, if something happened I did NOT want it ato be my fault! Well I, yes I, slid in the living room slide and broke the damn fan blade! UGHHH I was sooo peeved! We have had this trailer for 6 damn months and I ALREADY broke the stupid fan! Jamie just shook his head and then told EverYONe about it! Then I forgot to roll down the antenna and a window in the bed room! Finally I was finished and said I am not going back in!

Oh rObOt!! Just a quick pic! Sweet boy!
We adopted him from the shelter at home!! He is the sweetest guy! He has one ice blue eye and one brown and he stands on 2 legs and loves to give hugs! He is a big boy weighing at 65lb and on 2 legs about 3.5 ft tall, maybe taller!

Monster Jam came to town and we decided we wanted to take the tot! He is all boy! He loves rocks, dirt, cars, dirt, tools, and dirt!!! I knew he was going to love and dad was totally pumped as well!! lol

In full gear! lol He was sooo funny! He would stand up and cheer for all the trucks! I loved it!

This guy was pretty good but the IronMan and GraveDigger were the BEst ones!

I LOoove this shot of IronMan he was doing the wheelie contest!

Loving it up!! He couldn't take his eyes off for a quick pic!

I forgot this guys name but he was pretty good as well! El toro something!

GraveDigger fell over during the freestyle, he was all good though!! I think he does that on purpose!! I would! lol

So Glad to be moved but we shall see how the new hood will be! Wish me luck!

Trailerhood style!

Here is a glance of my trailer style! Trailer style is not normal style. You want to be cute for yourself, because no one else is going to see you,but you want to be comfy. So I try to wear comfy shirts and relaxed pants or shorts or capri. Very relaxed easy to chase a tot in!!!! I LOOOVeee CANTON First MOnday Trades day! It's all good in the trailer hood raglan tee by My Tiara Fits! They have a booth in canton Texas it's one of my absolute favs I have a ton of shirts from them! They do different holiday ones. The shirts are super soft and super comfy!! I can throw on some pearls jeans and my boots and hit up the town with my girls or the hubs or just relax with some comfy lounge pants at the la casa!! The camo pants are also from canton but idk where I got them!! I had these originally in a capri and wore them with boots and they were super cute then summer came and I cut them into shorts!! So now I have these pants and I will soon purchase another pair for capri! Camo is super cute and this girl adds a little bling and makes it all the better! I did wear flops with this because the weather is nice today!!!I am frequent First Monday Shopper and love every mile of that place!!!! It comes every month and I only miss a few months a year!!!!

Maybe I call this a TRAILER WEAR THURSDAY!!
Bad Blurry pic but I have to use what I have for now. Maybe show this to my Love and ask him how am I supposed to have a respectable blog with pics like this!!!! I need a CAMERA dammit!!!!

Tot, Pot and trailer.... part 1

We have had a very small victory today, but at this point ill take any no matter how small. My little tator tot is 21/2, and I have been trying this exhausting battle called potty training since he turned 2. When he was about 18 months, something freakishly came over him and he was using the potty to poop, well he was telling me that he pooped and we would go to the potty and he would finish doing his buisness. It happened like 3 or 4 times and maybe at that point I should have pushed it a little more, but he was my baby and I wasn't ready for that. Well what a freaking dummy I was. This FYI to any soon to be or current tot moms, if they start to tell you no matter what age, GO WITH IT!!!!!!! I could cut my legs off for not following through! Anywho, so we are passing this bridge now and my little VICTORY is that we have been in BIG BOY underwear for almost 4HOURS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I CANNOT believe it!!! I am sooo looking for the downfall though! Ill keep you posted on how this goes. I say part 1 but I don't know of how many!!!!

As I was writing this I saw the dreaded look that every tot has when its that time and then I knew it was to late!! We mad it 3 hrs and 45 min. He pooped in the big boy underwear.

Elmo needs to start working a little faster!

A Women walks in a Bar.....

Today is 3 years that my Love and I have been married!! It all started on a cold, windy, rainy day and it ended with two people together for life and ever after.
Here is a recap of how it all began. I met my husband at a bar. Yes, that's right, I found Love at a bar. I know that your told when you are young, and running wild trying to find romance and love, that you will never meet a man at a bar. BUT yes you can!!! My best friend in the whole world introduced me to Jamie that night and we have been together ever since. That was 6 years ago. We rocked along in this dating world, we hit a curve here and there but all in all we had a great relationship.
When we started to get serious, I had one rule. I clung hard to this rule to keep me safe from danger. It was, 3 years is all you get. What I mean by this is that he had 3 years to decide if this relationship was the one that he wanted for a life time. Now, of course I already knew this was what I wanted so that's why I left it his decision. I think its a good rule. Three years is long enough to get to know everything that you need to know about someone. I did not mean that we had to be married in that three years, I meant that I needed a major commitment.(Engagement) So, with that said, we hit a rough little spot at about the two year mark,We DID NOT BREAK UP! I am very firm in that breaking up does not make anything better. You have to fight through it with all you have and never give up if its something you LOVE!!!!! It took us about 3 months to get through this rough curve, but we did. The day after Thanksgiving in 2009, I found out I was pregnant. I didn't know how I felt at the time. I was happy, yet I didn't want to be this girl that gets married because she was pregnant, and I definitely did not want to feel like that was why he wanted to marry me. I knew that I loved Jamie and that we were going to be fine. Sometimes god gives you a push. I know this was our push to build this wonderful life that we have now!!! In December, he proposed, and I accepted. I do have to stress this, because this was stressed to me, JAMIE DID NOT PROPOSE because I was pregnant. He had already been planning this and had a ring picked out and was soon to purchase it. I was told this by my SIL (sister in law) and BIL. They knew how important this was to me and wanted to make sure that I was aware of Jamie's previous plan. With out further delay I planned a wedding in two months and we were wed on February 26,2010!!! Although I was a pregnant bride, and that  was not what I had planned, nor was it what God had planned he knew this was a marriage for the ages and sometimes he throws you a curve to make sure you can get through it!!
My Love, My Life!

It has been a wonderful three years together so far! I would not change anything that got us to this point either!! My being pregnant was and is a blessing.  We have a wonderful son who has brought so much joy to our lives. I Love Jamie more and more everyday! To see him grow as a father is an amazing site!!!

Mr. and Mrs. Hanks

It was such a wonderful Wedding!!

My Mother, my ROCK!!!!

I think you can find love any where, you just have to have an open heart!!!

Texas skies!!

One of the things I love about traveling is all the different Texas skies!!! To see a sunset like this back home is non existent. Oh don't get me wrong the sunsets at home are beautiful they are just different! Full of tall pine trees as far as you can see on most places and lots of rolling hills!!! I love how close it seems we are to the sky here also! The stars seem so close at night that I could just grab one!!! If you have never experienced the Texas sky at some point you defiantly should!!!!

Happy Sunday!!!

Life in the Falls....Witchita Falls that is!

With a new year brings us to a new town! Our first stop is Wichita falls, Tx!!! What a nice town this has really turned out to be. I don't miss home so much here because, well it really feels like home. Its probably my fav town yet. We parked our home on wheels at a little spot in the Coyote Ranch Resort, www.coyoteranchresort.com. It is a GREAT park and def a RESORT! It has a wonderful playground for Atley, and a Jumping pillow! Which I had never heard of, but is the absolute funnest thing ever invented for a child! Way better than a bouncy house, I think anyway! This park has amazing pull through sites,  and electrical poles. As wacky as that sounds, its really nice to be able to go outside at night when you have to check your pipes or hoses or electricity and the pole has a nice light on it!! You can see in your yard and don't trip over everything while you fumble around. They have cabins you can rent and super nice laundry facilities and showers. Our water froze about the third day we got here and busted a lot of the tubing, that we had to get replaced. Mind you this is a brand new trailer we just got in October and we already had to do major work to! Anywho, we had to use the showers and it was nice to know that you were not going to catch a funk in there!
I think I have spent more time here than I did when we were in South Texas and it was a much farther drive. We are taking Atley to the Monster Jam truck rally that is going to be here next weekend, March 2nd, and he doesn't know and is going to be soooo super excited. He is sooo boy and into anything that is big and load! Just like his dad, who is also sooooo super excited to be going!
I found a gym here with child care that is super nice! Atley loves the childcare here. www.powerhousegym.com  It is a struggle for me to start being healthy and stay on that track. It's no ones fault but my own, but having a schedule is hard when you travel all the time. I can start a routine in the trailer and then we will go home and it screws everything up!! I am trying to just push my self threw it but finding the motivation is a very difficult task. But ill just take it day to day!!
Here are a few pics from around the trailer hood! I have a very funny video of Atley on the Jumping pillow that I will post shortly!!

This is the WONDERFUL play ground they have!! Probably the nicest one I have seen. Even at schools!! He was so proud when he could slide down the big slide all by himself.

Big boy going across the bridge!

For Atley's Bed, this trailer had a couch that folds out and has a storage compartment for like blankets. Well we converted that in to a bed cubby for him and he loves it!! So much that he dumped alllll of his toys in there! lol

About the second week here I found this little guy frozen in Robots, our boxer we adopted, bowl! After that i put mouse traps everywhere!

Thanks for reading, and Ill post more on our adventure soon!

A little crafty through Christmas!!

So this CHRISTmas I decide to make one of Atley's Santa gifts. He LOVES to cook and play kitchen and help me so I thought, thanks to some ideas from pinterest, that I could make him a stove out of some old end tables that I have! I have a problem of not taking before pics and I need to work on that totally and maybe some steps along the way. But for now I just have an after pic! This one turned out soooo cute that I decided to make my niece one for her 2nd birthday! Because I have a boy whenever I make or create something for him I am usually limited on what I can do but when I do things for my nieces I get to go all out! Needless to say Bella's is AMAZINGLY the cutest thing EVER!!!!

So this is my little guys kitchen! He loves it so much! I got him some stainless pots and pans and some cups and bowls and he goes to town! When I did his I put the pail on the side because I didn't think that I would be able to have the oven drawer and I wanted that for sure.
Of course when I make the first of anything I always think about the things I would do differently!

This is the sink side with a towel bar.

This is a top view! I did a few things different and I want to change Atley's up now.

This is the oven side with the stove top and burners. I loves that I got to use a cuter nob also. I just stapled on the material after I sewed the the hems!

I love be able to craft and come up with different stuff to make from old things we have around the house. I can't wait to start on my next creation and I will for sure take before, during and after pics!!
